Construction of 8,100 Kilometers Long MIST Submarine Cable In Asia Will Start

The MIST submarine optical cable system has a total length of 8,100 kilometers and a design capacity of more than 216Tbps. It is planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2022.

The growth of data center business and the accelerated development of 5G networks put forward higher requirements on the existing submarine cable transmission system. The MIST submarine optical cable system will help high-speed network connections in the Asian region to meet high bandwidth requirements.

With the development of science and technology and the progress of society, communication and interconnection become more and more important. At present, optical communication has become the mainstream, and its market demand is increasing. The demand for optical devices is also increasing day by day.
