Eagle Submarine Fiber Cable System India Data Center Completed
A few days ago, Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a subsidiary of India's Reliance Communications, announced that the Indian submarine cable system's data center in India has been completed, which will help the Eagle system to be put into production as planned.
According to the plan, the submarine cable system will use 100G technology, using 4-6 pairs of fibers, and the initial design capacity of each pair of fibers is 12-24 Tbps.
The GCX statement stated that the Eagle submarine cable system will be the fastest submarine cable route for key technology centers between India, Middle East and Europe. When Eagle is put into production two years later, it will connect to India's newest and largest data center to further meet the needs of regional users.
