North American AlCan ONE Terrestrial Optical Fiber Network is Completed And Put Into Production
MTA Fiber Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MTA, has completed the construction and operation of the AlCan ONE fiber optic network.
The network is an all-terrain fiber network that connects Alaska, USA with the United States and its surrounding areas. The new long-distance fiber optic network extends from Arkansas to the North Pole to the Canadian border 300 miles away, where it is interconnected with Canadian operators and further connected to the United States.
AlCan ONE will initially have a capacity of more than 100Tbps, and as the demand grows, it can be expanded and increased in the future.
