Their work became part of the ONF reference design and was incorporated into the overall strategic planning of the ONF. TIP's OOPT is more focused on developing open source decoupled platform devices, including Voyager transponder/packet switch, next-generation packet optical transponder Cassini and decoupled base station gateway DCSG. The ONF and TIP organizations have jointly conducted a number of ODTN software and OOPT hardware collaborations on occasions including OFC2019.
