On April 14, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the 10 national standards and 64 industry standards for the communications industry. According to the standard revision plan, relevant standardization technical organizations have completed the preparation and revision of 10 national standards such as "Raman Fiber Amplifier" in the communications industry and 64 industry standards such as "Calculation Method for Atmospheric and Rainfall Attenuation of Satellite Communication Links", which are under approval. Public documents show that the 10 industry national standards involve Raman fiber amplifiers, fiber test method specifications, quantum secret communication application scenarios and needs, smart cities, and optical amplifier test method basic specifications.


The names and main contents of 64 communication industry standards related to optical module standards include: optical modules, basic telecommunications enterprise security, Internet security, content distribution network (CDN) and Internet of Vehicles, public cloud services, access network, big data and other industry requirements, Test methods, basic specifications, etc. Articles 55, 56, and 57 relate to the technical requirements, tests, and inspections of optical modules.
